Commentary
The profound and intrinsic evil of abortion can only be comprehended when we recognize that God carries out the salvation of humanity through family and children. Abortion means stealing a conceived human being´s life, a human whom we violently deprived of the experience of living and loving his parents, siblings, grandparents, and his own children and grandchildren. We erased his presence amongst other people, his potential to live his own love story, his imprint on the world, and on so many people he could meet and interact with, all gone.
Abortion attempts to deny God of his children and their life. This means trying to stop God from being God the Father, faithful and never-ending love that gives life, embraces, and nurtures it. Abortion is the most significant corruption of human potential and maternity that kills the innocent and helpless, betraying the child entrusted to them to love and protect within a family. Nonetheless, no homicidal father or mother can prevent God from being the Father of those unborn children. He who loved them since forever embraces them forever.
