Commentary
Marriage, founded on human love, which is the image of divine love, contains a source of unfathomable richness. It is a program of real, profound, excellent love. It is essential to reveal it to young people, provide a horizon for their yearning for truth in love, and prevent them from falling into emptiness, pessimism, and loneliness.
Parents are not always the best points of reference for the youth. We allow ourselves to show them marriage and a family as “something” routine, dull, tired … And true conjugal love is the opposite of “objectification,” routine, boredom, tiredness. However, we must also discover this ourselves, as parents and spouses, and live it as husband and wife, helping each other.
If one can understand that marriage is a path of true love and a life truly lived, which is gradually discovered and built along with the beloved, then one can assume that it is well worth their while.
