The insertion of the woman into the labor market and societal roles must be supported and accompanied so that she does not lose her possibilities of responsibly exercising her maternity.
Text
“The weakening of this maternal presence with its feminine qualities poses a grave risk to our world.” (The Joy of Love, n.173)
Commentary
Men and women are vastly different but infinitely complimentary. The fact that women have a more significant presence in society and organizations, far from meaning that we should try to be more like men, calls us to feminize these environments with delicacy, listening skills, sensitivity towards others, love for details and genuine interest in others. We cannot deny ourselves of being authentic entrepreneurial women nor deprive society, much less the family, of the qualities we are called to contribute.
We must not forget that a significant quality of women is precisely their motherhood, and this quality is an incomparable and irreplaceable contribution to the family and society.
